Looking south from footbridge at Castle Cary railway station in Somerset. Platforms 1 (right) is served by mainline trains between south-west England and London Paddington. Platform 3 on the left is served by the shorter train on the branch to Weymouth, which diverges immediately south of the station. Platform 2 takes trains on either line.
