Looking south frmo the southern end of platform 1 at Castle Cary railway station in Somerset. The station is located about a mile north of the town of Castle Cary due to the rail junction seen here - the leftmost track heads to Weymouth while the main Berks and Hants line between Reading and Taunton via Westbury continues beneath the bridge visible right of centre. On the extreme right are a siding and a disused south-facing bay platform. The building visible is no longer connected to the railway.
