Filton Abbey Wood station photographed from the southern end of platfom 2. The station was originally constructed with just two platforms, with the shelters set off the back of the platform. In 2004 a third line and platform 3 (on the left of this picture) were constructed to increase line capacity by splitting services for Bristol Parkway and South Wales south of this station.
