A merged view looking east from the eastern end of platform 1 at Gloucester, together with platform 2 (a continuation of the same platform face at the western end of the station), this is the longest platform in the country.<br>
To the left of the picture is Horton Road yard, where an orange and yellow serco tamper is currently in residence. In the centre of the image, but not very clearly visible in this view, are three storred locos, two Class 47 and a Class 31. On the right of the image the yellow front of DRS Class 37 locomotive 37608 is just visible in the distance.
