To mark the end of almost 50 years of service by what has become one of London's most famous transport icons, I am hoping that
it will be possible to publish this picture of newly painted RM 2089 that is now operating as
a heritage bus on part of route 15 between Trafalgar Square and the Tower of London. Pictured at Trafalgar Square,
which as it happens is very close to Charing Cross Station, on the 16th November 2005.
