Closure notices posted outside North Woolwich North London Line station, photographed on the last day of service.<br>
The NLL was closed between Stratford and North Woolwich after the last train on the 9th December 2006 to allow for the construction of the Olympic branch of the DLR from Canning Town.

There is talk that the closed section of track will become a preserved railway operated by the Great Eastern Railway Museum, which is based in North Woolwich old station.
