Looking west from the western (northbound) platform at Nailsea and Backwell railway station in North Somerset. The station spans the bridge over Station Road that links the two settlements that give the station its name, the buildings in this photograph are in Nailsea, Backwell is on the other side of the railway.
The white on black text on the bridge parapet indicate that it is located on the main line (MLN) 126 miles, 33¾ chains from London Paddington.
