Looking east from the eastern end of the island platforms 1/2 that form the high level part of Portsmouth and Southsea station. On the left is the roof of a Class 450 train at one of the low level platforms; on the right are the roofs of Class 444 trains in the sidings.<br>
It is not immediately obvious from this photograph but the lines beyond the signal on the left are on a significant gradient down to ground level.
