Island Line Class 483 (ex-London Underground 1938 Stock) EMU 483006 at Ryde Pier Head station, the northernmost point on the Isle of Wight's railway network and interchange point with ferries to the mainland. The other platform at the station is now disused, as there are concerns over the structural integrity of the pier.
This photograph was taken from the pedestrian/road traffic pier; between the footway and railway is the dismantled remenants of the pier tramway.
