Swansea (Abertawe) station in South Wales viewed northwest from the southern end of platform 4. A First Great Western HST is at platform 2. The stopping points for platforms 3 and 4 are much further from the concourse than those at platforms 1 and 2. I don't know why this is, but it wasn't the case when I last used the station regularly in 2001.
