Looking up the stairs to platforms 3 and 4 from the subway at Taunton station. The decorative copper lamp shades are the only attractive feature in this otherwise utilitarian subway.<br>
Rather than install a lift to the platforms for disabled access, the cheaper option of a stair lift has been chosen here - the only station I've been to that has done this. Platforms 1/2 and 5/6 are both accessible via lift or stairs.
