Looking north from the southern end of platform 2/3 at Westbury station in Wiltshire. A rake of Foster Yeoman hopper wagons is being hauled on the up bypass line by Hanson Class 59 locomotive 59103.
This view shows clearly how the station was designed with two island platforms to give four faces, but the righthandmost one in this photograph is fenced off with the track having been lifted.
Although all the station signs, and the destination on my tickets to get here, say just "Westbury" the name of the station is shown as Westbury (Wilts) online and in almost all timetables, etc.
