Looking north along the railway towards Bristol from the pedestrian footbridge at Yatton station in North Somerset. The bridge in the photo is the modern road bridge that replaced a weak stone bridge about 2 years ago.

Although Yatton is a small settlement, the station is an important commuter location to Bristol and because of a large free car park attracts a lot of passengers from the surrounding area. For this reason long intercity trains stop here quite frequently - you can see the x-car stop signs along side the track beyond the station.
