Waiting to depart from Shoeburyness with an excursion to London Fenchurch Street in the afternoon of 2 May 1999.
Built at Brighton in 1954 and delivered to the LTS line where it worked until displaced by electrification in 1962. 
Withdrawn in 1965, it remained at Barry scrapyard until 1984 when its remains were rescued for restoration, steaming again at the Midland Railway Centre in 1998.
