Now if you are at Didcot Parkway and get bored with endless Thames Turbos, Great Western HST's, Virgin Voyagers and those class 66 'sheds', then you can pop next door to the Didcot Railway Centre. Being on the Great Western Mainline it is not surprising that it specialises in the Great Western Railway and is actually home to the Great Western Society. In this picture we can see a diminutive saddle tank No 1340 working a two coach train along a stretch of track at the Centre. The date is 20th August 2003.
