STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway - is located in a part of the former Swindon Works where many steam locomotives were built and maintained.
Quite modern Pannier tank locomotive nr. 9400 of the 9400 class, built in 1947 for shunting. 210 locomotives class 9400 were built.
