Great Western Railway - UK STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway - is located in a part of the former Swindon Works where many steam locomotives were built and maintained. Replica of broad gauge locomotive North Star, built in 1925 in Swindon using parts of the original locomotive. The North Star hauled the first passenger train over the Great Western Railway in 1838.
