Great Western Railway - UK Didcot Railway Centre is the living museum of the Great Western Railway. Only two locomotives of this class were built for Cardiff Railways in 1898. Steam railmotor number 93 was built in Swindon in 1908 and operated from many depots in southwestern England. It was rebuilt into a trailer in 1934 but it was completely restored in Didcot in 2011. Wantage Tramway - UK Didcot Railway Centre is the living museum of the Great Western Railway. This locomotive was built in 1857 for Sandy & Potton Railway. 4 similar (narrow gauge) locomotives remain at the Ffestiniog railway. In 1878 it was sold to the Wantage Tramway Company and operated until 1946, when GWR bought it and put it on display. It operated again from 1969 to 1975 but was withdrawn shortly after. South Devon Railway. ex-GWR 0-6-0PT 1638, the sole survivor of a class of 70 Hawksworth tanks built between 1949 and 1955. The engine is seen at Buckfastleigh Station on what was the called the Dart Valley Railway in June 1971.
