LMS 4F 0-6-0 No 44422 photographed at Crowcombe Heathfield station on the West Somerset Railway during the Spring Steam Gala. Also just visible is S&DJR 7F 2-8-0 No 88 (BR No 53808) which together with 44422 double-headed a southbound service from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard.

The design of LMS 4F 0-6-0 No 44422 is unusual in that it allows views like this of the pistons and gearing beneath the boiler. Photographed at Crowcombe Heathfield station on the West Somerset Railway during the Spring Steam Gala.
