UK – Ex-LMS Royal Scot 3-cylinder 4-6-0 6115 Scots Guardsman makes one of its very few forays onto the mainline on a running-in turn following repairs; note that the tender has not yet been repainted after the long overhaul. Sadly the repairs were not good enough and after just two trips with enthusiasts' special trains from Dinting to York, this locomotive was withdrawn from service and has not run since. October 1978.
