This is Britain's BRAND NEW steam engine! A truly remarkable achievement over 19 years at a cost of 
£3M A1 Class Peppercorn 60163 'Tornado' passes through Sandy on its first main line run to the Capital, 
appropriately arriving at Kings Cross. Even at this small Bedfordshire town the turnout was several
hundred whilst at the'Cross' thousands  were there to greet her. The historic date of this journey from
Darlington was February 7th 2009.
