The Open Weekend at Doncaster over the 26th and 27th July 2003 was to mark 150 years of what is now refered to as the 'Plant'. To celebrate this a remarkable line-up of locos was put on display.
This included a number of steam locos that very rarely leave their base at the National Railway Museum at York. One of these is the World famous 'Mallard' holder
of the World record for steam locos at just over 125 MPH. Many of the locos on view were 'captured by Jampics' and thanks to James's efforts in transfering his video to still
photographs, can be seen here.
