The highly successful "Torbay Express" ran from Bristol to Kingswear each Sunday from 1 August to 5 September. Four of those six workings were entrusted to a stranger to Britain's southwest, the very reliable ex-LNER Pacific 60009, Union of South Africa. The unmistakeable shape of an A4 is caught by the bright morning sunshine as in something of a hurry(!), she leaves Bristol, through Malago Vale. 8 August 2004.
