1306+4472_(4)_Foxfield_depart_8.5.1976. UK Heritage Steam 1960s and 1970s. During May 1976, LNER Class B1 No.1306 Mayflower worked two trains with LNER Class A3 4-6-2 No.4472 Flying Scotsman, in the English Lake District. A month later the B1 double-headed with LMS Class 5 No.45407 on a rail tour from Carnforth to Leeds and return. 8th May 1976 in beautiful sunshine, 1306 and 4472  are seen in broadside from a field adjacent to Foxfield station. roger.griffiths@hotmail.com
