This is the first time we have seen this unmodified Bulleid Pacific 34067 'Tangmere' in action...and hopefully it will not be the last. One of the Battle of Britain class it is in its second year on the main line and has become a popular attraction for steam enthusiasts. Built in 1946-7 this Southern Region loco is the only streamlined example currently running. It is seen here at the front of a charter to Ely taking the train through unlikely territory, the Lea Valley at Brimsdown on the 28th February 2004.

Brilliant...a truly memorable experience...a 'big up' to the crew and all involved from both of us. 34067 'Tangmere' speeds through Brimsdown and heads for the Cambridgeshire Fens on February 28th 2004.
