34067 'Tangmere' makes its way across the viaduct at Folkestone Harbour on what could be the last train to travel the branch that opened in 1849 and was later used by the Golden Arrow. The VSOE has in recent times been using the station for passengers who are then put on coaches for their journey by Shuttle through the Channel Tunnel. This very limited use is due to end but quite when is not that clear. The last cross Channel services from Folkestone stopped in the early 1990's, the White Cliffs of the nearby larger Port of Dover being being clearly visible in this picture taken on the 27th January 2007.
