Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0 sadlle tank locomotive builders number 1742 built 1946. Named Millom.
This locomotive was built for the UK government Ministry of Supply, delivered to West Chirton depot (Wallsend, Northumberland), later being moved to Eskmeals (Cumberland). Sold to the Millom and Askham Haematite and Iron Company the loco worked at both the ironworks and the mine before being sold and etnering preservation in 1970. Seen at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre. June 2012.
