When the rest of the UK was getting rid of its Trams, Blackpool kept theirs, even though drastically reduced to just the coastal services.  One of the ways that the trams have been kept running is by use of advertising and also adaptation and 'make do and mend'.  This is an example of a Balloon car 'surgically' altered Balloon car, to me this is a testament to the skill of the men and women of Rigby Road depot.
