Derby Corporation Tramways Tram

Former Derby Corporation No: 1, which was built in 1903 and was used for crew training prior to the opening of the electrified system in Derby where it ran for 30 years, is seen on display in the Exhibition Hall at the Crich Tramway Village on Sun 4th Mar 2007 at 12:01.

National Tramway Museum, Crich. Southampton tram 45 passes Newcastle tram 102 at the point where the double-track from the museum gate becomes single. 45 was built by Hurst Nelson in 1903 and was the first British tramcar to pass into private preservation, in January 1949. 102 passed into private hands for preservation in February 1949.
