A good location at Basford sees 201, the first tram in number of the NET network (was the pun intended - dunno!, the numbering system was started from the last tram into service when Nottingham got rid of its tram system. One interesting thing of the day was the number of people (and most of the trams were at crush capacity) 'taking a ride' and made me think that it must have been like that when trams first ran in the city. Although this stretch of road is unsegregated, the traffic light sequences effectively mean that it is alternately dedicated to road and tram traffic.
