Ex 4 Suburban class 405 now departmental 2 car unit 930004 makes its way through Hither Green
on one of its regular runs laying down sandite to improve wheel grip during the leaf fall season.
We actually saw this unit at Bournemouth Depot Open Day in 1998 but nothing
beats seeing these old units out working for real...as we did on the 26th November 2003.
