OSE_Station_Alexandroupolis.jpg (143487 bytes)

OSE - Greece
Alexandroupolis port (main) station seen from the balcony of hotel Erica. Trains from Thessaloniki have to reverse for a few hundred meters to reach this station, as the line only runs directly towards Turkey and Bulgaria and not Thessaloniki and Athens.

OSE_Timetable_Alexandroupolis.jpg (150597 bytes)

OSE - Greece
Timetables in Alexandroupolis have been written by hand. Therefore it is rather complicated to find correct Greek timetable information on the internet! As you can see, some regional trains have recently been withdrawn by crossing them out. And note that according to this information train 1680 runs to Dikaia while it actually continues to Svilengrad in Bulgaria.
