One of the Piraeus Railway Station is the so called Peloponnisos Station. Only a few steps away of the ISAP(Subway) Station of Piraeus. It´s the railway station of the metergauge trains to the Peloponnese. But not for long. In the near future the Peloponnis station is to become the new Central Station for Piraeus in standard gauges, for the trains to northern Greece and to the Airport. Piräus hat drei Bahnhöfe. Neben den Bahnhof der ISAP, heute auch U-Bahnlinie 1 genannt, gibt es wenige Schritte weiter den "Peloponnesbahnhof". Wie der Name schon sagt, fahren hier die meterspurigen Züge zur Peloponnes ab. Doch diese Tage sind gezählt. In Kürze soll die Meterspur eingestellt werden und als dem Peloponnesbahnhof soll der neue, normalspurige Hauptbahnhof Piräus werden, mit den Zügen nach Norden und zum neuen Flughafen. The second station in Piraeus is the so calles "Ag. Dionysos Station" (because of the so called church in the neighbourhood). It's the station for the standard gauge trains to northern Greece. When the new "Central Station" at the area of the nowadays Peloponnisos Station is ready, this station will closed forever. Der zweite Bahnhof liegt im Stadtteil Ag.Dionysos, noch direkt am Hafen und ist für die Normalspur.
