On 2000/05/13, the international car transporting train "Optima express", named after the agency "Optima tours" from Munich, made its first drive to Edirne (Turkey), via Villach, Ljubljana, Zagreb and Belgrade. This was a representative drive, and in the future, some of the direct car transporting trains destined to SE of Europe will be redirected from Hungarian to Croatian rails. Ten additional drives were scheduled for May.
