HZ diesel shunter 2041 028 takes a short brake between shunting duties at the port of Ploce. Ploce now lies in Croatia, but it is the end of the line from Doboj and Sarajevo (now Bosnia and Hercegovina).

The HZ diesel-electric locomotive no. 2041-010 with a freight train at Zapresic Station (on Zagreb - Slovenia mainline; but this is also a junction for Varazdin - Cakovec - Hungary line / not electrified).

Explanation of the serial number:
2 - diesel locomotive
0 - electric traction
4 - four driven axles, arranged as: Bo'Bo'
1 - the first series (out of 4)

This low-power series 2041, along with the Bo'Bo' series 2042 and the unique unit of series 2141 (DH, B'B'), is utilised for small freight transport only; with passengers' trains only in emergencies.
