Diesel locomotive 661 216 in Croatian railway museum. This GM EMD G16 loco hauled the train, which derailed in Zagreb Main station 1974; caused one of the worst railway accident ever more than 170 people died in the accident. The locomotive was in use until 1991.

HZ 2062 003 with a short regional freight train reaches the station of
Kastela Stari. A passenger train is still waiting there to proceed the
Kastela consists of a few small towns along the adriatic coast near
Split, here you also find the airport of Split, just 20 kms from
the city.

HZ 2061 033 is waiting for departure to Perkovic. Itīs the late
5810 train, taking some direct coaches for a night-express train
to Zagreb. The town of Sibenik is cooling down after another very
hot day. Some minutes later the sun will drown into the adriatic
sea.

Another view of the 5810. The three cars are well used. Not many seats
are still free. The GM-Loco will start when darkness has come over the
town. Scheduled departure is 8:10 pm, another 30 minutes left...
A discreet roaring of the engine is tranquilizing the passengers,
maybe they will awake if the engineer puts the throttle to the "8"!
