A hajdúböszörményi vonalon megmaradt a teherszállítás, jön is a répa. Ennyi répa terem Derecske körül is, de oda egy duplabobós teher még bevételt termelne, ami szigorúan elkerülendő.

They kept the possibility to order freight trains to the Debrecen-Tiszalök line, and a little manifest full of sugar beet was gathered. A similar train with two M44 locomotives could well be filled with beet from around Derecske too, but that would mean some serious income for the railway, and that's to be avoided.
