MAV DMU Bzmot 306 as a local train from Eger to Szilvasvarad behind the castle of Eger
The city of Eger lies in a quite narrow, totally built-in valley where building a railway line was not easy. The railway line Eger - Szilvasvarad was built in 1871. At those time, medieval castles were used only as quarries so demolishing a big part of it was not so strange as nowadays.
