These diesel-electrics were built by the Swedish NOHAB company, based on
GM's design. (My or Di3(?) at other European RRs)
A total of 20 of these locos was purchased by the MAV in 1963-64,
13 are still in service, mainly with passenger trains between
Budapest South Station and Lake Balaton.
