A LÁEV régi motorkocsija, az ABmot 2 pályaszámú jármű lila színben a Széchenyi-hegyi járműparádén A vasút építésekor a GyV-nek csak egy motorvonata, a roppant aranyos, de gyenge Piroska motorkocsija volt, ezért kisegítésképpen a lillafüredi exklúzív motorvonat egy motorkocsiját és egy pótkocsiját is Budapestre hozták. A vonatot később Miskolcon selejtezték, és a 1989-ben a Gyermekvasút négy Bax-kocsira elcserélte. Sajnos a szépen földíszített B-26-os nem indult be, de azért a fotókhoz tudott pózolni. A napjának végén a C-50-es betolta a mozdonyszínbe. The decorated B-26 was broken down so his train had to be pulled to the photosites by a C-50 locomotive. A LÁEV Mk48 2021 pályaszámú hibrid dízelmozdonya Miskolc-Dorottya u. végállomáson A hibrid dízelmozdony két, a forgóvázban elhelyezett vontatómotorral (B'B' tengelyelrendezés) és komoly lítium-ion akkumulátor-telepekkel van fölszerelve, így völgymenetben generátorfékkel dolgozhat, és a városi szakaszon, illetve a Lillafüred utáni laposabb erdőben nincs szüksége az aggregátorra. The LÁEV Mk48 2021 hybrid diesel-electric locomotive at Miskolc-Dorottya u. terminus The hybrid locomotive has two traction motors in the bogies so it has a wheel arrangement of B'B'. It's equipped with massive lithium-ion batteries for regenerative braking that can supply the motors with energy on the city section and on the flatter forest section between Lillafüred and Garadna.
