MÁV narrow-gauge diesel engine C50 5710 of the Balatonfenyves system, seen at the terminus of Somogyszentpál on January 5th, 1997. The train is about to depart to Balatonfenyves. It takes the train almost an hour to do the 14-km-long line, due to very poor track conditions. In summer there are regular steam hauled trains for tourists. There are two major branch lines, which in recent years have seen only a handful of trains, carrying hunters to the hunting grounds. The engine was built after 1950 by Északi Fõmûhely (Északi shops) in Budapest. It has an output of 37kW and a maximum speed of 30 km/h.
