The leaders of the Budapest transportation company decided to form an articulated train from the freshly bought UVs in 1962. This was a comlete failure, since four motors of the eight were removed, and the cars could run only extremely slow. Then in 1966 they built back the cars to the original form (today 3258 & scrapped 3235).
