Budapest view of Lanchíd (Chain Bridge)

This is the tram tracks view of the Danube and the Lanchíd (chain bridge). On the Buda (west) side of the Lanchíd there is a Siklo (funicular) train up to the Palace and FishermanÕs Bastion.

This picture is from summer 1998. That day it was +40 degrees celsius (+104 F) I did not cross the Lanchíd by foot until February 2006. It is a really nice walk across the bridge over the Danube.
