Also from Dublin Heuston station the new InterCity trainsets class 22000 are used, towards Westport and Galway. Trainset (220)25 is one of the latest to be delivered, at the moment of writing 27 trainsets of this class are in use.

In 2010 a part of the former railway line from Clonsilla to Navan was reopened up to M3 Parkway, a park-and-ride station next to the M3 highway. Trainset 22356 is seen at the end station of its run from Docklands in Dublin.
