IE29117_Docklands.jpg (134776 bytes)

IE - Ireland
Since last year some of the trains from the Maynooth direction do not run to Dublin Connolly station, but run to the new Dublin Docklands station instead. This station is only a short walk from the very crowded Connolly station. In the future there will also be a railway tunnel passing underneath this station.
Diesel trainset 29017 has just arrived at Dublin Docklands.

commuter1.jpg (125750 bytes)

A DUM commuter train operating on the "North commuter" line at Malahide station. The commuter network strecht out to Drogheda and share tracks with DART and long distance trains (notably the "Enterprise" express Dublin-Belfast). Differently to DART the "Commuter" doesn't call at all station. Digital photo marcolambruschi@libero.it
