The only electric trains in Ireland are the DART (Dublin Area Rail Transit) EMUs which operate the Howth-Bray service via Connolly and Pearse stations. The two-car units usually operate in four-car formations during off-peak times. DMS 8114 leads such a formation into Connolly station on a northbound service. It displays the two-tone green livery, until recently shared with Dublin's buses. Two of these units are in a black-based advertising livery for Guinness, each coach being adorned with full-height lettering in a different bright colour. They normally operate together in a four-car set. Unfortunately they managed to elude photography during my short visit! Photo by Dave Root.

This reminds me of the train that was shown in the film "The Committments" when the whole band sang along to "Destination Anywhere" by Ashford and Simpson.
