06/05/2023: Open day at Pistoia DORS (Deposito Officina Rotabili Storici - Depot and repair shop for Historical rolling stocks), managed by "Fondazione FS".
Fondazione FS Italiane looks after and manages the Italian State Railways’ vast historic heritage: it oversees a fleet of over 400 pieces of historic rolling stock, around 200 of which are in full working order.
It also oversees the archives and libraries, both the Pietrarsa and the Trieste Campo Marzio Museums as well as some dedicated Depots (like Pistoia DORS).

Trenitalia historical wagon FDIz 149-091 at Bologna Centrale Station on 18/02/204. This historical wagon is maintained by the "Fondazione FS", the Historical heritage and preservation branch of the Italian State Railways. Here is pictured at Bologna in an historical composition named "Treno della Memoria" to remember the Istrian-Dalmatian exodus of local ethnic Italians from Yugoslavia after the WWII.
