D 445.1059,  repainted in the XMPR livery, has just arrived in Firenze from Borgo S. Lorenzo via Pontassieve, on the tail of a reversing passenger train. Built between 1974 and 1988, the relatively small D 445 are the most modern and powerful diesel units running on the Italian network. The most recent units (1036 to 1150) are used on reversible passenger trains.
