The small diesel locomotive used in the Deposito locomotive del Romito (Firenze) to put in and out the electric (inside the housing there is no catenary) . It just pull out the nose of a locomotive, so when it have to leave can use its front pantograph to get current and then move on the roundtable. They plan next year to speed the operations by paving all the area around the platform and then doing these moves wit a raod tractor, so leaving the roundtable free (with rhis arrangement all diesel move use the platform) Photo by Leonardo Boselli got on 28/6/97 . leo@dicea.unifi.it
