47 steam locomotives of this class were built for FCS from 1914. FCS merged into FdS that operated all narrow gauge line on Sardinia. FdS is now part of ARST that operates all long-distance public transport on the island.

Four locomotives class 300 were built especially for the Mandas-Arbatax line in 1914. All still exist but in a very bad shape. In the picture is one of 3 that are present in the are of the Monserrato FdS railway museum.

Four locomotives class 300 were built especially for the Mandas-Arbatax line in 1914. All still exist but in a very bad shape. Number 301 is stored next to the depot in Mandas.

SFS (now ARST-FdS) - Italy (Sardinia)
In the 1930s private railway company SFS bought a batch of steam locomotives. 6 were still operational when SFS and FCS merged into Ferrovia della Sardegna (FdS). Steam locomotive SFS 11 is seen dumped in Tempio Pausania. Looking at older pictures, it hasn't move for the last 25 years.
